Situated along the premium agricultural belt at 35°N latitude, Pingyi County in Shandong Province leverages its exceptional fruit resources and four decades of industrial accumulation to stand as a premier hub for China’s fruit canning sector. Today, the county is home to 115 canning and supporting enterprises, accounting for one-third of the nation’s total output and earning it the prestigious title of “China’s Fruit Canning Capital.”

Pingyi’s success begins with premium raw materials. Both Wutai yellow peaches and Tianbaoshan hawthorns are recognized as National Geographical Indication products. With a fruit cultivation area of 260,000 mu and an annual yield of around 500,000 tons, the county provides a stable, traceable, and top-tier supply of raw ingredients for canning.

Pingyi has also built a complete industrial ecosystem spanning raw materials, packaging, processing, logistics, and recycling. The county is home to 61 processing companies, including three of China’s Top 10 canning enterprises, supported by modern cold-chain logistics, e-commerce platforms, and more than 20 logistics parks, creating an efficient and resilient supply chain.

To support business growth, Pingyi continues to streamline government services, simplify administrative approvals, and foster a fair and business-friendly investment environment.

Currently, Pingyi is accelerating the transformation and upgrading of its canning industry toward green, intelligent, and high-value-added development, while actively expanding into RCEP member states and European and American markets. With its comprehensive industrial chain, reliable supply capabilities, and continuously optimized investment climate, Pingyi is emerging as an ideal global destination for fruit canning procurement and partnership.
