Wuliangye International (Europe) GmbH Established - Yibin takes a new step in Belt and Road Initiative
DUSSELDORF, Germany, Sept. 14, 2017 /Xinhua-AsiaNet/--

On the evening of September 7th local time, the Investment seminar and the 
tasting of Chinese Famous Liquor Wuliangye was held by Yibin, Sichuan Province 
in Dusseldorf, Germany. Wuliangye International (Europe) GmbH also was formally 
declared its opening on the same day.

Liu Zhongbo, Yibin Municipal Party Secretary, said in his speech that Belt and 
Road Initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping is now positively implemented 
in Yibin. Yibin fully expands the opening to the outside world, and constantly 
deepens the foreign cooperation. This is to promote the development and 
reformation of Yibin to a higher level. Nordrhein-Westfalen has already 
established friendly relations with Sichuan Province before with good 
cooperation basis and achievements, all of which become the norm of friendly 
relations between China and Germany. Nordrhein-Westfalen, with advanced 
experience of industrial transformation and development, has a large number of 
excellent enterprises. Yibin will strengthen all-round cooperation and 
communication with Nordrhein-Westfalen in intelligent manufacturing, new energy 
vehicles, healthcare, modern service, science and technology education and 
personnel exchange, etc. As the city of liquor in China, Yinbin not only has 
great advantage in liquor industry, but also owns the world famous liquor 
Wuliangye. Yibin will grasp the historical opportunity of Belt and Road 
Initiative to promote the "stepping out" of liquor industry. Yibin will spread 
great traditional Chinese culture through liquor and make the national business 
card Wuliangye worldwide. 

Li Shuguang, chairman of Wuliangye Group, said China and Germany are two world 
powers at both ends of Belt and Road Initiative. With the 45th anniversary this 
year, China-Germany friendship thrives. Wuliangye will build a world 
influential national brand and world-famous "Chinese business card" as a bridge 
of friendship between two countries.

Chairman Lishuguang said on the opening ceremony that the establishment of 
Wuliangye International (Europe) GmbH took an important step for the 
internationalization of Wuliangye. Europe is the world's leading consumer 
market for wines and drinks and a top priority in international development of 
Wuliangye. Wuliangye will strengthen the cooperation with Germany in industrial 
investment and internationalization capacity, so as to create a new situation 
of mutual benefit between Chinese and European enterprises.

Recently, with the increasingly stepping out of internationalization Wuliangye 
is actively involved in Belt and Road Initiative and makes frequent appearances 
at the important international stages as Summer Davos and The Astana Expo. 
Wuliangye also makes great efforts to spread liquor brand and culture in 
Kazakhstan, Israel, Czech, and other Belt and Road countries, enhance 
cooperation of liquor industry and investment in practical terms and make great 
achievements in international strategy, which makes Wuliangye industry leader
