From June 27 to 29, the 4th RCEP Regional (Shandong) Imported Commodities Expo was held in Linyi, Shandong Province, aiming to explore innovation-driven models and long-term empowerment mechanisms.

This year’s expo set up new themed sections, including a “Smart Technology Zone” and a “Multinational Corporation Zone,” showcasing global industrial trends and cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities. These areas provide local enterprises with valuable insights into advanced international technologies and future development directions.

“Convention-Exhibition Integration” becomes a core competitiveness. The expo launched a multi-dimensional integration strategy of “Expo + Marketplace,” “Expo + Culture & Tourism,” “Expo + Consumer Promotion,” and “Online-Offline Synergy” to fully leverage Linyi’s unique advantages in commerce, logistics, and industrial clusters.

By synergizing with eight major professional markets in the city, the event integrated exhibitions with marketplaces. A dedicated foreign trade boutique zone was established, featuring 22 local export-oriented enterprises, international logistics firms such as Jingbao Logistics, and leading cross-border e-commerce platforms including Hugo and eBay. This blend of domestic and international trade enabled local enterprises to expand market access. To further stimulate consumption, the expo organized cultural and tourism promotional events, gourmet tasting sessions, and established an international consumer goods zone under the themed IP “RCEP Shopping Festival.”

Additionally, leveraging China’s large-scale e-commerce trade platform, the expo has transitioned online, seamlessly blending virtual and physical experiences. This upgrade transformed the expo into a comprehensive resource integration platform, pioneering a sustainable model of “Exhibition + Industry + Logistics + Digitalization.” Even after the physical event concluded, Linyi will continue to operate the online platform, creating a “never-ending RCEP Expo.”
