On June 27, the 4th RCEP Regional (Shandong) Imported Commodities Expo officially opened in Linyi, bringing together more than 300 domestic and international enterprises in China’s renowned “City of Commerce” and “Logistics Capital.”

Spanning 35,000 square meters with 1,200 international-standard booths, the expo attracted an average of 15,000 daily visitors, including over 5,000 professional buyers from home and abroad. The event facilitated numerous key business partnerships and investment deals.

Exhibitors from 66 countries and regions, totaling 348 companies, participated in the expo. The event featured 17 national pavilions and 7 international sister-city pavilions, with 28 e-commerce and cross-border trade companies and 20 international business associations in attendance. Among the 247 international exhibitors were 179 companies from RCEP member countries, 51 from Belt and Road nations, and 17 from other regions.

Local Linyi manufacturers, including Jinluo, Light Element, and Douhuangjin, connected with global distribution giants, including Metro and Freshippo, for procurement opportunities. The “Ten Thousand Enterprises Going Global · Shandong Trade Worldwide” initiative facilitated targeted international market expansion, while activities such as the “RCEP Shopping Festival” and “RCEP Select” livestream selection sessions enabled export-focused companies to effectively access China’s domestic market and new retail channels.

Leading global companies such as Tesla, Unitree Robotics, CP Group, and Amazon, along with CIIE exhibitor groups, the China-Africa Business Council, and Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, were prominently featured.

The “1+4+6” series of events delivered multiple dividends to exhibitors in the form of new orders, investments, distribution channels, market insights, and brand visibility, effectively transforming exhibitors into investors and exhibits into market-ready products.
