Immersive Science Inspires Young Explorers in Feixian, Shandong

The Feixian Association for Science and Technology, in collaboration with the county’s Education and Sports Bureau, recently launched an immersive technological journey for young students. Through on-site visits and interactive engagements, the initiative enabled over 100 students to experience the achievements of technological innovation, sparking their interest in science.

 

At the Smart Wood Cloud project workshop of Tyson Risheng Group, students were treated to a showcase of cutting-edge manufacturing. On a production line boasting comprehensive 5G coverage, robotic arms carried out tasks with pinpoint precision while Automated Guided Vehicles navigated the floor in seamless coordination, achieving full automation from raw timber loading to finished goods warehousing. The students witnessed how a raw wooden board could be transformed into a finished product in a mere three minutes, gaining a vivid insight into how smart technology is revolutionizing traditional manufacturing.

 

The students then proceeded to the Feixian County Aviation Spark Science Museum. Guided by professional instructors, the students learned about the aviation history and the fundamental principles of aerospace engineering. The flight simulators proved to be a major highlight. Grabbing the control sticks themselves, they immersed themselves in China’s aerospace achievements, planting dreams of reaching the stars deep in their hearts.

 

At Shandong New Era Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., the tour extended from the corporate exhibition hall into the state-of-the-art production facilities. The meticulously organized assembly lines and advanced R&D equipment underscored the rigorous management standards and innovative capabilities of modern pharmaceutical enterprises. Meanwhile, at the science popularization experience center, interactive exhibits spanning acoustics, optics, electromagnetism, and beyond translated abstract scientific principles into tactile, engaging experiments. Through hands-on exploration, students figured out scientific logic amid fun exploration.

 

From smart manufacturing workshops and science museums to pharmaceutical R&D facilities and interactive experience centers, Feixian County is bridging the gap between technological innovation and the younger generation through diverse science education initiatives. No longer confined to textbooks and labs, science has become vivid and accessible in daily life, nurturing a spirit of inquiry and innovation within the next generation.
