27th China Zhanhua Winter Jujube Festival Opens

On Sept. 26, the Binzhou 2025 Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Celebration & Opening Ceremony of the 27th China Zhanhua Winter Jujube Festival took place at the Zhanhua Winter Jujube Ecological Tourism Park in Binzhou, Shandong Province. Under the theme “Harvesting Joy in Golden Autumn,” visitors from across the country gathered with local farmers to celebrate a bountiful jujube harvest and experience the vibrant momentum of rural revitalization.

At the event, high-quality local specialties took center stage. A featured market showcased fresh winter jujubes, value-added jujube products, salt-pond shrimp, shrimp paste, and other premium agricultural goods, drawing crowds of visitors to sample the offerings. This year’s festival, which ran through early October, included 14 themed activities such as an e-commerce live-streaming festival, a traceability music festival, youth art exhibitions, and sports competitions.

The Winter Jujube Festival has evolved into a vital platform for boosting farmers’ incomes, driving industrial growth, and showcasing the region’s image. Beyond the celebrations of harvest joy, folk culture, and consumer vitality, Binzhou is leveraging winter jujubes as a catalyst to deepen the integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism and inject new momentum into rural revitalization.
