Bianqiao in Pingyi Emerges as New Hub for Wood, Home Furnishing Industry in Southern Shandong

Where traditional craftsmanship meets intelligent manufacturing, a new industrial city is rising — the Bianqiao High-End Wood and Home Furnishing Industrial Park, covering a planned area of 6 square kilometers. Its standout feature is the 800,000-square-meter “Pilot Zone for the Transformation and Upgrading of the Wood Industry.” It boasts a full industrial chain from raw timber to smart home products, positioning itself as a leading powerhouse for the wood and home furnishing sector in southern Shandong.

 

Strategically positioned near major national, provincial, and county highways, the park sits less than 10 kilometers from both the expressway exit and high-speed railway station, offering a 60-minute direct link to downtown Linyi and a 150-minute connection to the global port of Rizhao. This efficient transportation network forms a “Wood Industry Silk Road,” streamlining the flow of raw materials in and finished goods out to the world.

 

With 34 enterprises settled and 23 projects operational, the park is advancing under a development layout of “two cores, three axes, six zones.” In the smart home zone, the King Coconut’s state-of-the-art Dieffenbacher production line shines with advanced continuous flat pressing technology. Meanwhile, in the high-end panel production area, Kangdi Wood’s manufacturing meets the world’s strictest ENF environmental standards, exemplifying the essence of “green intelligent manufacturing.”

 

Anchored by its high-end wood industry incubation zone, the park has invested 320 million yuan in technological upgrades, enabling 80% of its enterprises to complete equipment modernization. From raw log processing to smart home assembly, a fully digitalized production process has boosted production capacity by over five times, reducing about costs by more than 60% and material costs by over 5%.

 

As the ancient growth rings of Mount Meng meet the pulse of intelligent manufacturing, this land is ushering in Wood Industry 4.0 through green, smart, and high-end transformation.
