China’s Liaocheng Fine Arts Exhibition Unveiled in Dangjin, South Korea

To deepen cultural exchanges with South Korea, the China-South Korea International Calligraphy and Painting Exchange Exhibition officially opened in Dangjin, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea, on August 8. The exhibition will run through August 14.
The exhibition features over 40 exquisite works of traditional Chinese calligraphy and painting from Liaocheng, showcasing the unique cultural allure and urban identity of the city, celebrated as the “Water City North of the Yangtze River and the Pearl of the Two Rivers.” The exhibited pieces also highlight the diverse explorations in contemporary calligraphy and painting.
The exhibition uses calligraphy and painting as a cultural bridge to connect China’s Liaocheng and South Korea’s Dangjin. During the event, artists from both countries have forged friendship through artistic dialogue.
