Jinan Enterprises Embrace Smart Manufacturing for Accelerated Global Development

The promotional event themed “Opportunities in China, Charm of Jinan” was held in Jinan on June 12-13 to explore high-quality development and cooperation opportunities.

During the event, the team paid a visit to LGMG Co., Ltd., located in Jinan High-tech Zone. As a subsidiary of LGMG Group and Top 500 Global Construction Machinery Manufacturers, the company engages in two main businesses of “mining machinery” and “aerial work machinery,” with its mining trucks being the global bestseller for eight consecutive years.

The digital factory is truly impressive, featuring an intelligent scheduling platform that acts as the factory’s smart control center. This platform allows for monitoring and scheduling of production data, material reserves, and energy consumption, providing decision-making support for management.

Moreover, the company is actively expanding into overseas markets, with subsidiaries established in countries and regions such as the Netherlands, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Indonesia. By the end of 2023, the company officially launched its overseas manufacturing base in Mexico to accelerate its global expansion.

Subsequently, the team visited Shandong Hongjitang Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., a century-old traditional Chinese medicine manufacturer, and explored the Hongjitang Museum. Founded in 1907, Hongjitang once won the top gold medal at the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition. It is widely recognized as a time-honored Chinese brand.

Hongjitang focuses on the development of modern production technologies and the inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine culture by deeply integrating new generation information technologies such as big data, blockchain, and the Internet of Things with traditional Chinese medicine processes. As one of the top 500 Asian brands, Hongjitang has successfully extended its presence to the markets of South Korea and Europe, with a brand value of 16 billion yuan in 2017.
