Qilu International Lecture Hall – 2023 China-Europe Modern Livestock and Poultry Industry Technology Innovation Seminar & Launch Conference of China-Europe National Joint Laboratory Held in Binzhou, China

On Nov. 5-6, the Qilu International Lecture Hall – 2023 China-Europe Modern Livestock and Poultry Industry Technology Innovation Seminar & Launch Conference of China-Europe National Joint Laboratory was held in Binhai Advanced Technology Institute of Binzhou, Shandong, China.

With the theme of "Seeking Collaboration and Innovation and Sharing the Future Along the Belt and Road," the event was attended by foreign experts from the UK, South Korea and Kazakhstan and more than 50 scientific researchers from related research institutions, technology promotion organizations and enterprises such as Harbin Veterinary Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Yangzhou University and Shandong Binzhou Husbandry and Veterinary Research Institute to strengthen the international cooperation and exchanges on the husbandry and veterinary industry.

At the event, an opening ceremony was held for the China-Europe National Joint Laboratory, the "National Talent Training Base" and its Immigration Service Station. This year, the "National Demonstrative Promotion Base of Technology Innovation of the Livestock and Poultry Industry" was approved and certified by the Ministry of Science and Technology, initiated by the Binzhou Husbandry and Veterinary Research Institute and jointly declared by organizations such as Binhai Advanced Technology Institute and Shandong Binzhou Midas Touch Achievement Transformation Center. It has filled the gap in the "National Talent Platform" of Binzhou City. In addition, the Binzhou Husbandry and Veterinary Research Institute has successfully obtained certification as a "China-Europe National Joint Laboratory" and has been included in the key special projects of intergovernmental cooperation for the 14th Five-Year Plan national major research and development program. It is the only municipal-level institution in the country to receive this certification and the only certified institution in Shandong Province.
