The 9th Asian Winter Games call for the emblem, mascot, and slogan globally

The emblem, mascot and slogan of a sports event represent the cultural characteristics and spiritual connotations of the place where the event is held. They can resonate strongly with the participating athletes and sports fans around the world.

Harbin, capital city of Northeast China's Heilongjiang province, has won the bid to host the 9th Asian Winter Games in 2025. Asian athletes, sports officials, media reporters and other people from all walks of life will gather in Harbin over 500 days later. The emblem, mascot and slogan become the key to the success of the event, which will attract global attention. From September 19 to October 18, the 9th Asian Winter Games collect the event logo, mascot and slogan globally.

Participation Information

I.Submission Period: September 19th – October 18th

II. Required Materials

1. Emblem Design Submission

1) "Applicant's Commitment Letter," "Authorization Letter," and "Applicant Information Form" (downloadable at www.2025awg.com, fill out, print, sign, and submit)

2) Emblem design sketches (horizontally laid out on one A4 paper, electronic files in JPG and PDF formats with a resolution of at least 300dpi)

3) Design description (printed or written on A4 paper, up to 300 words)

4) Application simulations (4-5 examples, including materials, venue space, print media, or digital media, each extension design laid out horizontally on one A4 paper)

2. Mascot Design Submission

1) "Applicant's Commitment Letter," "Authorization Letter," and "Applicant Information Form" (downloadable at www.2025awg.com, fill out, print, sign, and submit)

2) Applicant's identification documents (A4 paper photocopy)

3) Mascot design sketches (color version, horizontally displayed on one A4 paper. If it's a group of mascots, each mascot should be displayed horizontally on one A4 paper)

4) Design description (detailed explanation of the creative basis, creative process, creative concepts, inspiration, and ideas for the submitted design, printed on A4 paper, not exceeding 1000 words)

5) Mascot design application plans (at least two extension design plans, including large and small-scale designs, such as banners, badges, large and small-sized peripheral products, etc.)

6) USB drive containing electronic files of the design (JPG and PDF formats with a resolution of at least 300dpi)

7)Extension designs (optional, showcasing the mascot's application in Asian Winter Games sports, recommended to submit 4-5 designs, each extension design laid out horizontally on one A4 paper)

8) Audiovisual materials (optional, animations or videos representing and introducing the submitted design)

3. Slogan Submission

2) Chinese and English versions of the slogan
