World Conference on Clean Energy Equipment 2023 Held in Deyang, China

Between August 26 and 28, the World Conference on Clean Energy Equipment 2023, co-hosted by the People's Government of Sichuan Province and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, was held in Deyang. More than 1,400 guests from both China and abroad attended the event, which featured 176 participating enterprises from around the world and an exhibition area of 25,000 square meters.

Deyang is one of China's key clean energy equipment manufacturing bases. The Conference featured eight summits focusing on themes such as clean energy development and new energy storage technologies, alongside a series of other activities such as Clean Energy Equipment Innovation Design Competition, and release of major accomplishments and announcements like Global Clean Energy Equipment Industry Development Blue Paper (2022-2023) and Chengdu-Deyang High-end Clean Energy Equipment Industry Cluster Cultivation and Improvement Three-year Action Plan (2022-2023).

Among the participating enterprises are a large number of household names including 19 Fortune Global 500 corporations, 16 of the world's top 500 new energy enterprises, and 47 national high and new technology enterprises of China and top 500 enterprises of China. The exhibition showcased China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach), Dongfang Electric Corporation and other leading technology and equipment companies, as well as the development feats, latest technologies and cutting-edge achievements of clean energy equipment companies from around the globe. The Conference serves as an internationalized platform that sets industry trends, exhibits innovations, and focuses on industry development impetuses. It aims to accelerate the establishment of a new energy system that is clean, low-carbon, safe, and highly efficient, thereby promoting the realization of the "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" goals.

The Conference showcased a multitude of exciting activities, including the debut of the Clean Energy Equipment New Product Launch, 40 Years of Achievements in Major Technology and Equipment, Clean Energy Equipment Metaverse Technology Experience, and the opportunity to explore the exhibition and check-in at various booths. These activities allowed attendees to personally experience and explore the concepts of green and low-carbon initiatives. Of these, the Clean Energy Equipment Metaverse Technology Experience revolved around clean energy equipment as main display contents, which were presented via VR, AR, MR, hologram and other leading-edge technologies, creating a digitized exhibition hall where visitors can experience and interact with the metaverse.

In addition, the Innovation Achievement Special Event this year followed closely industry development trends and frontiers in scientific and technological innovations, while announcing a series of business and investment promotion projects encompassing a wide range of key endeavors such as clean energy equipment and components R&D and manufacturing, hydrogen energy equipment manufacturing, fuel cell technology, and PV equipment manufacturing industry park.
