NX Korea Participates in Lecture Meeting at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies

Nippon Express Korea Co., Ltd. (hereafter "NX Korea"), a group company of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC., took part in a lecture meeting at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul on November 23.

This lecture meeting, held at the Seoul campus of the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, was organized by the Seoul Japan Club's (SJC's) Commerce and Industry Association Planning Committee to facilitate exchanges between Japanese companies operating in South Korea and local students.

During his lecture, NX Korea President Masami Akiyama introduced the NX Group, explained the changing customer needs that global logistics companies must meet, and provided examples of proposals made to customers. Various questions raised by students were answered by NX Korea staff members who themselves were graduates of the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, leading to a lively discussion.

About 40 students participated in this meeting, and the university offered the following assessment: "Many of the students were highly interested in working for Japanese companies, and it was a good opportunity for them to hear directly from employees about the current state of the logistics industry and the activities of the NX Group as well as to develop an interest in the logistics industry."

The NX Group will continue actively engaging in social contribution activities in the East Asian region to help students with a bright future.
