You’re Invited to the Teamfight Tactics: 5 Year Bash Featuring Player Rewards, A Game Mode, and New Cosmetics

Teamfight Tactics’ 5-year anniversary event launches on PC and mobile on June 12

Teamfight Tactics, the world’s largest PC strategy game, announced a new in-game event to celebrate its 5-year anniversary. Teamfight Tactics: 5 Year Bash, invites global players to join in on the festivities featuring birthday-themed cosmetics and player rewards. The event also brings a new game mode featuring traits from the 10 previous sets starting back from the game’s launch on June 26, 2019.

During Teamfight Tactics: 5 Year Bash, players can claim rewards through log-ins and an Event Pass at no cost. Rewards includeTreasure Tokens, a special Pengu skin, and emotes. By logging in 10 days total during the event, you’ll earn Treasure Tokens and the I Celebrate Emote. Players can earn the All Skill Emote on the free Event Pass which, when equipped in your loadout, grants a special Tactician Trail effect throughout the duration of the event.

“This is a huge milestone for TFT that we want to celebrate with the players who made this possible. Whether it’s their first game or they’re a veteran, everyone is invited to this party. While it is the game’s five year anniversary, our focus is on celebrating players for all the hours they’ve spent perfecting their comps and all the support they’ve given to the game over the last five years,”  said Christina Jiang, Senior Product Manager for Teamfight Tactics (TFT) at Riot Games.

The new game mode, Pengu’s Party, players will be able to bolster a roster with traits from past sets that represent all 5 years of TFT history! The Carousel is also getting updated with some 5-Year Bash flair to amp up the celebration. Each Set will be represented by two traits completely unique to that Set, which is sure to result in some of TFT’s most chaotic and unexpected strategies & gameplay moments to date.

“The game mode is a party on the Convergence. All the previous sets are invited so players can enjoy the breadth of everything that’s been created over the last five years of TFT,” said Jiang.

The best birthdays have surprises so TFT will reveal more details about the upcoming event on their social media channels including every trait coming back for the 5-Year Bash.

Teamfight Tactics: 5 Year Bash will be available on PC and mobile starting on June 12 until July 15.
